Hello everyone, so just recently before on my way to school I tried to start my truck and it was clicking. No cranking or anything just clicking. I have a video provided. Every time it would click my headlights would turn on as I turn the key and a red dot on the dashboard would appear. I found corrosion on my terminals and some parts else so I cleaned them off but it was the same. I replaced the starter thinking it was the starter but nothing. I left it overnight and the next morning it started right up. Can someone tell me what might be wrong with my truck. Thank you

Possibly there is a lot of corrosion and some just fell into where the relay box is.

 

If it happens again, try swapping the starter relay with another relay, such as AC compressor. Rare but relays can fail.
