Default Sound of silence !!!

Hope Christmas was kind to you all !!
Looking for some advice here please ! Dodge Ram 1500, ,2004 Hemi Laramie.

No sound coming out the speakers, front or rear. Radio, USB nothing. Volume level showing as moving up and down, but no sound. Cheap after market DAB unit fitted when I bought my truck. Steering Wheel controls have never worked.

Replaced it with a new Android Unit and still the same ?? Any ideas ? Just stopped working at random. Am guessing it may be the Axxess Metra CHTO-02 Amp Interface Unit ? All radio connections i.e. speakers, power, ground all go through this wee box, I believe ?? Can this box be tested, or by-passed even ? Or is it more likely to be the Amp itself that just gone and died ?
I am in Scotland, in the UK, so breakers are kinda thin on the ground over here. Many thanks in advance.

have you checked for power to amp? there should be a constant power and a switched power. also if you have a analog style test meter you could test in and out puts to see if were you loose speaker signal

Power to the Amp. Nice and conveinent to access !!😡😡 No power leaving the Amp. Worked out a by-pass and all working OK !!! Looks like the Amp itself has just died ! Nearly 22 years old i suppose.
Also got all the steering wheel controls working as well ! Thanks again.
