That's my point exactly, its nothing special. Here in California they have a "California Hemi Express package" basically its a decal that goes underneath the "Dodge" logo on the tailgate. It says, "California Hemi Express. It comes on 2wd Rams, with body mouldings, 20" rims, etc. Well, I have a 4x4, but loved the chrome "Hemi" decal on it. So, I went to the parts dealer, ordered the decals, and slapped the "Hemi" right underneath the Dodge logo.

yea...im sure what they do is similar to what you did.

They have a base truck and to get it to sell and make the buyer feel that they are getting a good deal....they offer a special package with a cool name so people will buy it.

 

Have you seen those "Hemi Powered" decals available on the hood scoops for Ram Sports? They about 4 inches wide, bright red? I put those under the Ram 1500 on both doors.

I just think it's funny when someone says, "I have more horsepower because mine is a Thunderoad." Damn, if decals add power, maybe thats why I see so many pre-2000 F150's with teal and pink decals on em

I was actually thinking of replacing my current hemi badges with the new ones from the 06.

also...i had debadged my tailgate when I got my truck pinstriped....but now Im thinking of putting the Laramie badge back on and instead of the 4x4 badge...i was thinking of using the AWD badge that the cars have....what do you think (i mean i DO have AWD so im not lying)...lol

 

I think an AWD decal would look good. I'm not really into graphics and all, but a few well placed decals can make a truck look sharp. I've seen debadged Rams, and they look cool, but just aren't for me. I've seen some websites that sell old 426, 383 decals - like the "Hemi" on the front fender. I wish they'd make one that said "345." I'd put that on my truck. Just have to wait I guess . . .
