ok, heres the deal, i got the factory premium running boards, while on the internet, looking for an accent kit, i found a place were the running boards AND the accent kit costs the same as what i paid only for the running boards. i think im gonna check with the dealer to make sure.

" Atlantic Blue (ZBJ), Sport model Accent Kit front running boards, includes front air
dam, rear valance, and 4 bed accents. front 2003, also order hardware kit 82208144 892.95"

ps-how much did you pay for the running boards and\or the accent kit?

first of all...the dealer charges about double what you would find on the internet!!

I found that the dealer was charging 500-600 bucks for the 4" chrom tubular running boards and online (ebay) and such you can get them brand new for as low as 330-350!

I was quoted $700 installed for the chrome tubular ones. About half was labor.

Install them yourself.... i never installed running boards before (not like its hard anyway)

and i installed the tubular chrome boards on my neighbors truck in about an hour. the dealer is a rip when it comes to labor.

do it yourself.

I'm planning on getting those automatic steps from PowerStep. They run $1000+ but the fact that they don't stick out is cool. They also protect the rocker panels from stone chip better than the typical tubular steps would. I was driving a 3500 at work that had them, and I didn't even notice them until the end of the night, because they are so quiet.
