Hello everyone. I am new to this forum so please bare with me. I am on my 5th week without my truck. mostly to blame is the place I brought it being short handed. Anyway. they are telling me it is the transmission shaft that broke. Does anyone out there know if this is common for Dodge transmissions or if this is a factory defect????

 

never heard of this happening,did they say if it was the input or output shaft? I have seen tail housings break when u joints go out,but an output shaft is huge,I cant see one of those breaking unless it was seriously abused! I.E. rock crawler,mud drags,drag car with boucoup power
