Im pretty sure the tow package wont be affected by going with a rollpan but I do know they make hidden hitch kits so that its a cleaner look. As for metal or fiberglass, prices are close but it depends on whether you just want to bolt it on or smooth it in with the bed of the truck. If you want to have it molded in, definitly go with metal so it can be welded. Most people dont go that route because of the amount of money involved in doing it. Ive always heard sir micheals to be good but I'm not up to date on their products and if they have one for the ram although I'm sure they do.

yea im also thinking about gettin a roll pan.

Id go with Sir Micheals. Your goin to have to by thier hidden tow package if you still want to tow, it works by your liscense plate will flip up and there will be a open hole there were you can slide your hitch on.

Also... id go with steel so you can weld and mold it to your bed, so it has no crease...looks alot cleaner i think, but its goin to cost you more!

My concers are what if you back up into something at a construction site or someone hits you from the rear.
Wont that bash in your tailgate. Because I am sure it wont hold up to a standard bumper!

It sure will bust up your gate!!! Thats why I am not going to remove my bumper!
Plus I like to use my bumper as a step it my gate is up. I'm thinking of getting a gate mounted step also.
