Awesome! I just put mine in about 3 weeks ago...I love the way it sounds with the resonator off, and It makes my truck so much better. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine...I'd take pics of it but it looks about the same, except for the difference in engine size...way to go man. : )

I was going to ask you if the hemi tick went away or got louder when you put in the intake but you have the 4.7......Does anyone with the Hemi "tick" and the K&N
intake have an answer?

Does adding a K&N intake void any warranty?

I do not know what you mean by the HEMI "tick" I have a HEMI and the K&N CAI...as far as the waranty, it shouldn't void it out...

I have the 5.7L with the K&N cai,and yes,I have the tick at part throttle acceleration,if I let off the gas or mash the gas it goes away. Its worse in the summer, with the high Louisiana humidity I guess it doesnt like it much, its pretty quiet all winter but when ot hits about 80 degrees,,,,,,,,,,tick tick tick tick

At first I thought it was an exhaust leak,so did the guy that did my exhaust, damn near drove us both crazy! I e-mailed K&N and they said it was normal on this engine,so I ignore it as best I can!

I only here the tick when I am warming up my truck, never when I am driving. I was just wondering if the CAI made the tick any louder or if it stayed the same?

The tick you refer too stays about the same, although all's I have is the drop in K&N filter.
