Like 320 or something after taxes. [maybe 350?] Their wicked though, I installed mine tonight. Their pretty heavy duty. Depends on the dealer though, one dealer here wanted over 400$, and another only wanted 3 something. Of course I live in Canada, if your in the US it'd be cheaper.

Just a FYI, but I did a lookup (www.mopar.com) on the skid plates for a 2005 Ram 1500 4x4, and they are:

82208055 - Front Suspension, Steel, (4x4 Trucks Only, same as production) - $99

82207963 - Transfer case, STeel, (4x4 Trucks Only, same as production) - $115

When I ordered my hitch receiver plug and 2" ball, I got a discount by ordering through the on-site Mopar parts dealer at my dealership. They put them in the system, gave me their invoice price, and they arrived the very next morning. I'll order these in the next couple of days and tell you what my price was.

After these, I'll be looking toward a set of those wheel well liners.

ce2eflaco,
I checked out your pics again. You guys finally made the Crown King Run. Did any of you lose any tires? I was considering the trail from Crown King back down, talked to one of the guys in the bar and he suggested having 4 tires for change outs. I opted not to as I was there visiting my Bro and parents at the time, and I was driving my long gone now 93 Dakota. And of course, really didn't come prepared for it. Man, I'd love to hear about that trip sometime. I used to spend a lot of time around pleasant, before it was paved around the lake and up in the backwoods south of Flag, on the old logging railroad bed up there. Some AWESOME four wheeling.
Just a quick question, Did you remove the anti roll bar to gain the articulation on the suspension?

I just showed my wife your pics of Crown King---needless to say, we may be making a trip out there soon!!! Now I just gotta find some decent steel rims to put better off road tires on.

Personally, I'd take the skid plates over the '06. Ick.

Do some searching. I found a site that sells them for less ~than 120.00 for the pair. Factory Dodge parts not aftermarket.
I'll see if I can locate it and post here.

My tires made it just fine. I have run the trail twice now without any tire issues. The detroit in the rear really allows me to crawl rather than rely on throttle, which tears up tires on rocks.
Hate to tell ya though....the county bladed the entire trail from Pleasant to Crown King. You could drive a mini van the whole way from what i hear. It's flat as a board and no more than a winding trail now. I'm going to go and see it for myself soon. There are other good trails in the area but none like that one.
Shoot me a pm if you want more info.
