How the hell do you get to these? i think i blew them up and want to replace them with some high end kickers but cant seem to get to them. any advice would be great.

 

I replaced mine out when i installed a component speaker setup...

do you mean..you dont know what to order?

or you cant figure out how to access them through the dash???

 

how would one get to them to swap them out. I also must get to them to rewire them.

got it, just pops off. Those are some small *** speakers!

 

lol..yea they are...but I left the center one alone since components only come with 2 6x9s and 2 tweeters....most people leave the center one alone...

yep...there is a little LIP on the dash and you get something to pry it up in a couple spots and it just POPS up...just clips.



BTW....I didnt order the center dash...it came with my truck...as well as silver inserts on the doors too.


But you can order that silver dash bezel for about 300 from dodge....but not the door inserts....it came on mine with the laramie package.

 

05laramie, what type of sub box do you have?

 

P.S the stocks sound like crap now!

 

Thats a Q-Logic single 10" enclosure I bought from Crutchfield for 219.99 and it houses a single 10" Infinity Kappa 10.1 powered by a 400w Rockford Fosgate amp.

 

05laramie, did u install the qlogic sub box yourself?

 

No...I had a shop do the install because i was installing the new component speakers at the same time.

I removed the floor tray before I got there though....the box fits in perfectly and screws down in 3 spots....I could have done it but I let them do it....Im not confident in my audio skills.
