Ok guys the dealership said they would flash my pcm for 70 bucks, but they sid it doesnt do anythign performance wise it just helps with gas milage and makes it run better... then another person said it adds hp... also fastman does it for 400 bucks whats the difference please help me out

It sounds as though they are playing with the fuel maps for the injectors at a give RPM and power demand. Most likely, fastman would be doing a more performance oriented map, and they may extend the rpm limiter of 5500 rpm which is where the the factory fuel cut happens at.

Fast Man uses BG flashes, Dan (FAST MAN) is a GREAT guy to deal with. I have a Fast Man BG flash on my truck ... which by the way is no where near stock... Im still trying to get the tune nailed down but the Fast Man heads are flowing more air than BG had anticapated. As soon as my Dynojet Wide Band Commander Kit gets in I will be able to record the RPMs x Throttle position x A/F ratio and more... I can then down load this info to my lap top and print a graph out. I will send that Graph to BG so he can get that A/F ratio closer to where we want it.
