hey guys i have 2002 regular cab truck with manual everything. i talked to the dealer and they said that it was impossible to switch the windows and locks to auto. have you guys heard of any kits or have any ideas?

 

My 2002 had manual everything also. I went to my local alarm and stereo shop and they installed power windows and locks with a viper alarm for around a 1,000.00 bucks. They have worked very well for over a year now. I now have remote entry which is very handy.

ya i was afraid of that. do you know how much the parts only costed? and where i could find the power lock motors? i am pretty good in a garage and assume i could install myself.

 

talk to eltupac, he has done them himself

 

did some research into the locks ... gonna cost your about $10-$15 per door in parts ... local prices on the locks are anywhere from $45-$60 per door installed ... the windows are probably the expensive part

all over the place ... search for door lock actuators

 

search for autoloc, they make quality stuff, ive used the door popper kits in the past and they were great. a shop down the street from me said they could do keyless entry in a non power lock vehicle for $250, 200 for the brain, and 25 per door for the lock actuators to be put in, didnt ask about windows though.
