drop kits
I am buying my lowering kit in about two weeks, I wanna do a 3"front/ 5" rear. Does anyone know do I need to buy a C-notch or is that not nessecary. And does anyone have any ideas as far as where I might be able to get a good kit.
thanks

Yes to go that low you will need a c-notch...Also what kit are you planning on buying....Nobody makes a 3/5 kit nor matter what they say...What I would do is go with a McGaughys 2/4 deluxe kit...You will get Spindles, flip kit,c-notch and shock extensions....Also dont run the factory shock after you lower your truck, the ride wont be the best.....
I order my kit from Slammed 1 Suspensions....

personally i dont think dodges look right lowered. maybe if it was a older chevy s10 it would look good but newer dodge= no go in my book. Now lifting is another story. but there still is a limit. just my 2 cents.
kevin,
If i go with that low of a drop you say i have to have a c-notch, nad does that need to be welded on or is a bolt on, and also is it better to go with springs or spindles and is a flip kit or a new leaf spring better for the rear. I was looking at doing a peice together thing and get a 3" drop spring and then the flip kit or the leafs. what is you reccomendation and also what is the web site for slammed 1 suspension
