I agree with most, take it off. No reason to be on the truck, just a temptation that will result in something bad.

He's a big boy. Geez. You guys sound like a bunch of old women.
He already said he isn't pulling people over or using it in any sort of traffic.

My two cents.

There's dozens of products, both legally and illegally that shouldnt be on ANY civilian car. There are people out there who take advantage of buying a used police car and try to pull people over etc etc etc.

That said, so long as he doesnt use it on the street, doesnt try to pull anyone over, and isnt driving the vehicle while using it, he should be just fine. It's technically illegal to operate hydraulics on a car in a lot of places but so long as you arent on a street or on a state fairground, there's really not a lot they can do.

Yes, there are laws, but you have to be driving your car on the streets for most of those to take effect. I can put limo tint on every car I own, and even if theres a law against it, so long as it never hits the public streets, the police can do ZERO about it.

Just use common sense and good judgement for this. Also, ice cream trucks use this same crap every spring and summer to broadcast their annoying songs.

I will say this though, if it is indeed a temptation, please remove it. If you cant use it responsibly, uninstall it.

Ya man, have fun with it, and just know when to use it or not to. I had a "wig-wag" flasher box on my neon one time. We use them at the proving grounds for the vipers, viper trucks, and anything else that runs over 130 mph. It makes the high beams alternate like on an emergency vehicle. I used it only once driving down I-696 between Telegragh and Orchard lake road. I was doing a high speed test at 1am, and wanted to know what it would do. I never used it agian; afraid I get cought, but I did get my lil ole' neon up to 150 MPH!
I considered putting a PA system on my truck once, but figured I'd get too much crap from the guys. They'd call me a hill-billy or something, hahaha. Anyway, just be careful, and have fun!
