I was surprise to see a dual INTAKE system system on ebay...I had never heard of them....If you are as curious as I was, follow this link and take a look...It looks pretty cool.

Does anyone have a Dual Intake system???

I've seen them on ebay for at least 6 to 8 months now. I doubt they offer any more performance than a standard CAI. They just look different. So if you wanted something that didn't look like everyone elses then get the dual set up. Just remember, its one more filter that needs to be cleaned too, hahaha.

 

i would get a regular CAI over that.

1. that is taking air from the top of the motor where the air will be hotter.

2. our intakes need a long tube to create best performance (i have no clue why but it has to do with air velocity and complicated stuff) Mopar mag has a whole section where they have no intake on the hemi, then compare that against a long tube like the AEM or K&N intakes and the tube add 8hp and 5 or so tq.

I have the AEM brute force and it is outstanding.

 

Not worth a second glance.

Well I am going to say different I have one on my 99 Ram 5.2 and I love this thing. You can definetly hear and feel the difference. You know you are taking in mass air if you shut the thing down and it exhales. My cousin likes it as well he put one on his o2 Ram his only has a V6 and he too was impressed. I do have one advantage I have ram air.

 

The best benefit is that when you close your hood, no one knows you got swindled on EBay!

yeah i put one on my 02 4.7 and love it. first off everyone that sees it thinks it looks bad *** but i just like the sound it puts out when you hit the pedal. and if you worrying bout sucking hot air then dont cause on mine the small fan on the front right ( if you lookin under hood) blows cold air directly into the right filter. i only paid less than 50 for mine in all off of ebay so even if you dont like it you only out a lil cheese as opposed to payin over two hundred for a volant or k&n. hit me back if ya got anymore questions

I just got one and put on last week. It really does give the truck an awesome deep throaty sound when accelerated. I could tell no difference in power and gas as stated in the ad on ebay, but you can tell the truck is not gasping for air, it gets plenty of it.
