just bought 1500 mega cab hemi what is the diferene between hemi and hemi (r) does it mean revised or some thing

 

The (R) denotes no MDS.

 

I THOUGHT ALL 2006 HEMI'S CAME WITH MDS .

 

Not the Mega Cab, it's too heavy. The MDS would never kick in.

oh well i guess im stuck with 8-9 city 14 hwy, was told it had MDS i think ill go talk to dealer,not that that will accoplish anything

 

FYI, 06REDRAM. The Mega Cabs are built on 2500 frames not the 1500. That's where alot of the extra weight comes from.

Freakin' huge interior in those things. To find a larger back seat you'd have to go with a fullsize custom van or a limo.

 

i11m10c2, If you have your window sticker, look at Engine: in top left hand corner. It should say... 5.7L HEMI Multi Displacement Engine, if you have MDS.
