Default Headlight Adjustment

Hello all... this is my first post and I wanted first to introduce myself. I have an '04 Silver Ram 1500 4x4 w/ a 4.5" Fabtech lift and 35" BFG A/T. The question I have is I need help locating the vertical adjustment for the headlights. The manual shows it to be in the bottom middle of the headlight, but all I can find is what looks like some sort of guide. I need help quick so I can stop blinding people at night. Can anyone help?

I adjusted my 2003 1500 4x4's headlights. like the manual says it's under the headlight assembly, there's a torx headed long screw. I turned it to the right like your tightening it to lower your beam. I'm not sure but I would'nt think they changed it the next year.

The lights were fairly easy. I would assume the adjustment screw is the bronze colored screw that is just above the black securing screws (the side closest to the radiator). Hope I was of some help.

Thanks... but I'm pretty sure that's the horizontal one you were looking at. I need to figure out where the vertical adjustment is at.

Red Eye, are you sure there is no torx headed screw under your headlights, between headlight and top of bumper. The screw is set back under the headlight assembly about an inch and a half. I can't believe they would of changed it from 2003 to 2004 cause their the same headlights.

Or you could drop by the dealership and ask them how.

I'm almost positive there's nothing there and just to make sure I had someone else look at it and they couldn't find anything.
