Thinking about getting these in 17x8 with 305/70/17.. How do ya'll think they would look on a silver quad cab ram?

do a 2/4 body drop and put on some low prof street tires and they would look awesome.

I do believe it's a 4x4. To drop that would be rediculous. The rims look pretty sweet. But I don't think I'd get the tires. The goodyears are way overpriced and I haven't heard such grand results on them. But they do look nice.

Dude, those rims do not go with those tires. The Wrangler MTR's are really aggressive looking and need tough looking wheels.

First off, good desicion on the tires. Every vehicle I've ever driven with the MT/R's I've loved. Especially if your taking them offroad once in a while. The rims are nice too, however not with those tires. I think this for 2 reasons. First, I'd hate to take such pretty rims offroad, and second, the rims would look better as a 22"+. Maybe for a 2WD truck. I'd get something more like a Weld, American Racing, or something more "offroad" looking for such an aggressive tire. The tires that should go with those rims are some kind of high performance tire, or low profile at least. I'm not sure what kind of driving you do, but I would think twice about that combination.

I changed my mind. Decided to get these moto metal wheels in a 17x9 instead. What do ya'll think?

I think they certainly look more "off road" than the previous ones. 305's will fit alot better on a 17x9 than a 17x8. I would think that on a 17x8 the tread would be a little too rounded instead of flat like it is supposed to be.

Definitely get the MTR's. In my opinion, they are the best tire out there. Amazing in all off-road conditions and not too much hum on the highway. Also good in the rain and snow and the tread doesn't chunk off on the street (a common thing with aggressive tires). True they are a little more expensive, but it is true what they say, "You get what you pay for." They are also 50x better than the BFG mud-terrains. But if you need something a little less aggressive, I never had a problem with my old set of BFG all terrains.

One more thing, they made of a softer compound than most tires. Just means they will stick well to rocks off road but the tread life on the highway will be less. I'm at about 10,000 miles on mine and they have about 3/4 of an inch left on them.
