Newb here !! Folding flat storage
I am going to challenge this one from a "newbee" standpoint and a dealer that doesn't know what he is doing. I thought most of these quads have the foldout floor in the back. First you have to fold the rear seats completely up to see it. It then folds out after unsnapping the bungee holding it in the down position using the black ****/handle. Just maybe, maybe it is there, you just didn't see it. As we all know, dealers are only "so" knowledgeable and I thought I would go back to the basics.
Just a stab in the dark.

I use the hell of of mine as well.. Groceries, tools (that I don't want stolen from the truck bed), the dog, etc. Some people love it and other people hate it, especially if they want to use the are for sub's and amps..
I'm selling mine in the classified post on here. Its brand new. I would love to use it but damn it I had to have bass. There are so many times that I thought to myself I wish I wasn't so addicted to great sound so I could have kept that storage there but I had to have some subs and that storage came out the day I got the truck. Now everytime I have a computer or a tv in the back I have to put them on my leather seats. I hate doing that. But I guess I had to make that choice weather to have good sounding music or more space for stuff. Guess Space lost and Bass won. PM me if your intrested. I have pics of the storage too its under "flip and fold"
My '03 Hemi didn't have them installed and I wanted to get them from Dodge for things like my hockey equipment, tools, and the what not. I searched hi and low only to find out that Mopar was supposed to release these after market. Finally, a friend of a friend had the rear seat sitting in his office here in Detroit (seat supplier) and he gave it to me after testing for a few coney dogs.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think the load floor comes off of the seat frame. I had to pull the whole rear seat (both sides), remover the cushions (cloth vs. leather) and then re-install them. The work fine and I have them folded open more often than not.
just an fyi...

Just picked up my 06 Sport SLT and I couldn't find the flat floor either! Salesman told me he thought Dodge was having a problem with them and that was why it wasn't there(what a cop-out!) The window sticker does indicate the word "credit" for the floor but the dollar figure is blank. I plan on pursuing the issue because of the fact that it is a standard feature and there is no upgrade or credit.
Otherwise I am very happy with the truck.

Hey SteeringColumn, and anybody else for that matter, How much are you selling it for? I might be interested, if the price was right.
