Hey all, just picked up my new '06 QC 4x4 Sport last night. Love it !! One small issue with the dealer though. No fold flat load floor in the back. Option list on the net, on the window sticker, everywhere says "Folding Flat Load Floor Storage". Is this not the folding steel floor option? The website even lists it as standard on the Sport models, and available on the SLT and Laramie. I showed the dealer on the original window sticker where it says it and he is going to look into it today. Should this have it, and is it something the dealer can add if I am right? BTW I am in Canada if that makes any difference as far as models go...

 

I have it and think it's a waste. Going to pull mine out. I wouldn't worry too much if you don't have it.

 

If you have to have it you can buy it from one of our vendors or try e-bay.

 

You are right REVTECHss, your truck comes with the fold flat floor option. Whether you think you'll use it or not, I'd make sure the dealership installs it. You paid for the option (price included with Sport Pkg group), if the dealership won't install it, try to get a credit.

 

Yeah go back to the dealer and see what is up.

 

I have it in my truck, but have never had to use it. But since you paid for it, then make sure they give it to you. If not, then maybe you can barter with the dealer.....maybe get some free oil changes or something in exchange.

 

To be honest, I have it and I use it quite a bit. Some simple stuff such as groceries or a suitcase (my bed doesn't lock). I move around quite a bit and having that flat rear storage is nice for big valuables like TV's or computers. Unless I was going to throw in a subwolfer enclosure, I'd definitely keep it or get it. Or get the refund if that's possible.

I have an 06 and the floor is plastic now, not metal. So with that in mind , it can't cost too much for the dealer. Oh , yes it does come with the truck

 

Well a small update, talked to the dealer again yesterday and they have 3 "sport" packages on the lot and none have it. He is waiting for a call from DC about it.
