Subwoofer Ideas for Ram 1500 QC?
I ordered one of these - I like it. While its just a basic box, it is covered in the OEM material, and is padded on top. It looks totally integrated, like it belongs there. And it has all the mounting holes and bolts in the right places to bolt down, and to re-attach the storage lid thing. So for ease of installation and OEM materials - $150 is a good deal in my book. You could build it yourself, but I wanted the material.
The other main benefit - you can keep the load flat floor that has to be removed when installing those rear seat deals.
The only thing I would do is silicone everything inside to prevent air leaks. He didn't do that.

DevilsReject - LOL I missunderstood what you meant.
I will be building a 'box' real soon but I will not run into the problems that people apear to be having as I am going to glass in a cabinet myself. After protecting the seat when the resin is still soft I plan on siting on the seat (I'm a heavy guy!) and then let it harden. After thats done I will cut it down about a 1/2" or so to glass in the top.
I don't want to use any wood or paritcal board cause I feel that any space down there lost is a big deal. I'm only going to use 1 10" or 1 12" speaker and my cabnet will take up most all of the passengers and middle storage space. I would like to leave a bit of the drivers side for storage. With a good quality speaker and amp I should be able to add good bass for the kind of music I listen to (rock mostly). Amp will more than likly be put under the front passengers seat. But I have the center console in my truck and there is a secondary storage area under it for laptops and stuff. I might vent that with a fan and put the amp in there. Not sure yet.

steeringcolumn, I don't think so, but I'm sure you could call JL and find out. I would think that the space under the driver-side rear seat would be too small, but you never know. Let me know if they do.
I HAVE A DUAL 10" BOX FOR THE RAM BACKSEAT. I INSTALLED IT ABOUT A YEAR AGO BUT I HAVE SOLD MY TRUCK. IT IS AVAILABLE IF ANYONE IS LOOKING. EMAIL ME AT BBUNN@EARL-IND.COM IF YOU ARE.
is there a way of putting a sub under the front seat compartment in a quad. cause there looks like there is enough room to put an 8 inch sub and u could mount the amp under the passenger seat or something if some one has ried that let me know how it works being a college student i have to make sure things work befor ei try them with limited funds
i purchased a "stealth" box that replaces the middle seat in my quad. i have a JL W6 12' running about 900watts contunuous and it rattles your teeth. the boxes that fit under the back seats really are not that good (IMO) because they do NOT allow any air movement. i dont have pic of my set up (out of town this week) but you can PM me or send me and email and i will get you pics and more detail about my setup.
Expensive, but another way to go. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-tn04TzW...750#morephotos
