Those lights look really good with the regular mirrored finish. I'm not too fond of the blacked out ones. I don't really care for that body kit, either...I hate slap-on fake hood scoops. Spend the money and do it right the first time and get the molded SRT/10 hood.

Original Thunder roads are from 2003. They came with all the trim minus the hood scoop, but did come with fiberglass bed cover. For 2004 Dodge intoduced the HEMI SPORT package which was basically the same as the Thunder road but has a scoop and no bed cover. From what I've seen the Thunder Roads didn't get the scoop. For 2005-2006 the Thunder Road was just a "minor trim" upgrade I believe. Seems to me Dodge "cheapened" the package. Still a good looking truck though

My 05 had the thunderroad package but onlyinadodge is right, dodge has cheapened the meaning of the thunderroad by offering weak trim pakages. When i went to the dealership i thought the thunderroad would standout out from the rest but you couldn't tell any difference between a truck with it and the one without it.

ok the thunder road pkg. like the lonestar pkg. is just a discount for buying the pkg. it's cheeper to get the pkg then to buy the opt. by themself.

ORIGINAL: sandiegohemi

ORIGINAL: New2Durango

This is what I found:

Thunder Road Value Group,

Special axle ratio, satellite radio w/one-year service, sliding rear window, fog lights, bright grille, bodyside moldings, P275/60R20 tires, alloy wheels. NA w/Sport Quick Order Pkg. 26L.

I have the 2006 and I have the Thunder Road package and on the sticker on the window the price is $2,045.

Hope this helps.
Most the things you mentioned are standard on an SLT (except the body mouldings). Thunder Road is nothing more than a decal (which anyone can order from the parts department).
