Default Thunder Road Owner's Please Post!

Okay what exactly comes in the Thunder Road package?.

Because I have seen a few thunder roads with the lower bodykit valance and sides and rear, and mine sure as heck didnt come with that.
Is there anywhere where I can buy these pieces. I mean I have seen the bodykits for these trucks and they are just crappy. I would prefer the stock kit that comes with the front, rear and sides. Maybe even buy an SRT10 hood as well. I checked on the web for these body parts (not the hood). Even checked the dodge site which lists them for $441.

But is there anywhere else besides that??? I spoke with a guy who owned one today, a 03 which had that package and the fender flares. It looked extremely tight!

Once again here is my thunderroad:

Here is one with the package I want:

I think the front valance is just an addon lip. I went to the dealer today and he qoute me $895.00.
Then I went online and found the same thing for $589 painted!

I swear the dealer loves to give out *** rapage!

This is what I found:

Thunder Road Value Group,

Special axle ratio, satellite radio w/one-year service, sliding rear window, fog lights, bright grille, bodyside moldings, P275/60R20 tires, alloy wheels. NA w/Sport Quick Order Pkg. 26L.

I have the 2006 and I have the Thunder Road package and on the sticker on the window the price is $2,045.

Hope this helps.

What sucks is I cant find my original sticker from the windshield and the dealer wont giveme a copy of it since I bought the truck last november.
But I know for certain it had the thunder Road package on the window price sheet!

Nice color, and awesome headlights... I want a pair like that for my ram.
I don't think the extra body kit looks very good... Make the front end look kind of like a vacuum cleaner. :P
The hood scoop would be awesome though!

Hey FL_ThunderRoad, I know this is a little off topic but I was wondering if you could tell me where you got those headlights? What brand are they? They look really good on your Ram![sm=bling.gif]

Ebay Dude...
Just look for Dodge Ram Halo Projectors.

One thing make sure when you get the bulbs that you upgrade the actual halo lights with some silverstar. Otherwise they will not be as bright as your stock ones.
I also swapped in the silverstar bulbs in the fogs as well.

Here are some pics with lights on and off.a few more pics with the lights on

Just Halo RIngs on!

Okay now on topic: I hear the Rumble Bee body kit works on the QC shortcab Version.

Most the things you mentioned are standard on an SLT (except the body mouldings). Thunder Road is nothing more than a decal (which anyone can order from the parts department).
