I could go either way. When we bought our '05 Hemi QC, my wife said she liked the chrome front end better... so that's what we went with. Now we are about to replace all the door handles and tailgate handle with chrome ones... I think it will bling!

 

I voted chrome, only because if you do it right, it looks good on a ram. As long as the accents are all in the right places, it looks sick. Honestly, when I was looking to buy, I wouldn't settle for anything that didn't have the sport package in gray. Well, I ended up getting a chrome front without the sport package, I got a smokin' deal I couldn't resist. And now, I have to say I've really gotten used to the chrome, its grown on me. The 20's were swapped out though on mine when I lifted it and I got some dark rims to match the truck with a polished lip and chrome cap and lugs, then I added the chrome handles. I guess I'm just attracted to pretty, shiny things BUT, my dad went and got a Ram after he saw mine, and got the same exact truck as me, the only difference is, he got the sport model. I can't help but say I'm jealous. The sport model looks awesome in gray and black, the other colors, chrome is the way to go. Just my 2 cents.

 

Chrome for me. I had an option between the all black (sport) and the black with chrome (larmine) and I went with the chrome.

 

I voted for painted because although I do like chrome, I think painted looks a lot better. If there are no other chrome accents it just looks weird to me.

i like a painted front end. i think chrome only looks good on rims and tail lights.

 

I voted chrome since that is what I have. Now I gotta get the grill inserts to get rid of the gray honeycomb grill. I guess it all depends on the truck. For a 4x4, I prefer chrome since it won't get as scratched up as the painted. On a slightly dropped street machine, I'd go with the monochromatic look. Looks good either way.

 

I voted painted. Looks sportier and meaner than chrome.

believe it or not the Painted package is the sport package and was far more expensive than the chrome.
