Default Time to go shopping

Hi everyone. I'm a regular reader, although I just now finally registered. I'm just looking for some ideas. I'm getting a decent tax return, and want to do a few things to my 05 Ram QC Hemi. It's just a plain white with a Reflex spray in liner. Otherwise, completely stock. I'm going to install a 50 series Flowmaster, CAI, and Silver Star headlamps in the next couple of weeks. Trying to think of other little mods I can do. Just wondering what the crew thinks so I can get some ideas. Maybe when it's all done, I'll post some pics so ya'll can see what we came up with. Thanx.

I have a white '05 QC too. I put the westin platnium series nerf bars on it, and they made the biggest difference in the trucks appearance. I also put the 50 Series HD Flowmaster muffler with dual outs on the passenger side, with chrome rolled tips. I think that it looks and sounds good. It has a deep rumble to it...but not as loud as the 40 series.

totally forgot about the nerf bars. That's a must. Thanks for the idea. You wouldn't happen to have a picture of your rig, would you?

Best mods for your buck, SuperChips, 456 gears.... Just ask RAM AIR, He will tell you. Anything else your just throwing your money into mods you wont really feel a diff in. RAM AIR did these mods and says their well worth it !!! just a thought.

I know you said that RAM AIR... or AIR RAM ... said that 456 gears would be good addition but i have some questions on them. Do they void the warrenty? How much do they run and what abouts do I pick them up/order them? Ive heard that they are a highway gear ratio... will it help in town too? Thanks for the input btw in response to the post... i got some polished nerf bars and grill inserts from dealsofsteel.com and it was fairly inexpensive and turned out to be an eye-popper for my Flame Red 05 QC. (the insert was a bit difficult to install due to the poor instructions and it was like 10pm without the damn hood light (so basically we were going by touch)) other than that they were well worth it
GL and show some pics of the mods!

Thanx schawks. dealsofsteel is apparently re-doing their website. appreciate the link tho. wife is wrinkling her nose at the nerf bars. i guess i'll have to explain how much easier it will be for her to get in the truck with the bars. she is only 5'4. hehe

Nerf bars are very helpfull if someone who isn't very tall is tryin' to get in the ride I got a set from willamore (Stainless) that I love. The silverstars work pretty well, though the install can be a little tricky (not very difficult though). I went w/a magnaflow exhaust but have heard good things about the FM's.....if you do allot of maintenance yourself you could consider non-performance mods like diff covers. I replaced mine with some from PML...they look good and include a drain plug so you don't have to pop the cover every 15K miles....Also perhaps consider a good spray in bed liner. Won't make it go faster but makes a world of difference to your bed if you ever haul anything...

Dude dont get the SilverStar Bulbs they are wayyy over rated. If you want some nice light out of your truck get some Nokya Cosmic white or Artic white much Brighter than Silver Stars. Just make sure you also get the wire harness for each seat of bulbs since your going to draw more power. Also You can get a nice sound sytem in your truck. You'll enjoy the ride even more.
