Default 05 Dodge Daytona help

Hi, im new to this forum and im 17, so dont go nuts if i dont know everything in the world about some of this stuff since i was accustomed to ford trucks, I just purchased a new Dodge Daytona 5.7l(upgraded from a measley 4.2 v6 f-150) and was wondering if anybody knew about a couple upgrade parts. The hood of it (correct me if im wrong) is of a srt-10 and functional if you take out the plactic insert, which is held in only by a coupleof nuts, i was wondering if anybody made a cold air intake for the hood and the 5.7l. Also i was wondering if they made any superchargers for the 5.7l and if anyone could recommend a good programmer (the only one ive heard of was hypertech) Any help would be appreciated.

Go with the SuperChips flash paq 3815, Well worth the money, YOU WILL FEEL A DIFF!!!! Just going with a CAI (cold air intake) you WONT feel any diff. TRUST me it's worth the money !!! Now as far as CAI's you may wanna try to get a hold of this guy on E-BAY ,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWA%3APIC

Now as far as looking for better MPG, the SuperChips helps VERY little as long as you can keep your foot off the floor, you will see a diff in MPG, My next mod will be 456's, Performance wise this is the way to go. we already have a GOOD exhaust system on our Daytona's so Dont waste your money there!! Hope this helps..

I bought the perforated SRT-10 insert from the local Dodge dealer for $20. Cheap, but not a CAI. It will go in for Summer to keep down underhood temp, but the Daytona insert goes in for Winter or rainy weather. It's about a 5 minute swap. I also backed it up with 1/4 inch nylon mesh to minimize the various bugs, etc. that find their way in...

Now my 2004 Mach 1 Mustang shaker scoop.....I had to rescue a sparrow that got sucked in at 50 MPH. Poor bird was scared ****less.

(To 2005Daytona) My kids (9 and 12) were hysterical with laughter over your avatar.
