Default cold daytona quirk

The other day i took out my wifes truck,05 ram 1500 slt daytona,it was a cold morning about 15 below zero,I let the truck warm up 5-10 minutes while i was getting dump run together, jumped in and started to take off, when it kind off hogged up on me.My foot was steady on the gas,and the road was clear,so i wasnt spinning my tires,The engine didnt die out but there was a noticeable loss of power for a minute. Also it sounded different then it usualy does.Once it was warmed up i didnt notice it again. I asked my wife if she had ever felt the truck act that way and she said sometimes when its cold. What is it.? just a cold trans? MDS sticking? Anyone else who has a similer experience? also Seems to be a lag in trans when shifting in and out of drive.

Default RE: cold daytona quirk

I didn't think MDS was offered in 2005...
