Can anyone tell me for certain the backspacing for the stock 17" rims on the 03 ram 1500? I believe it is 5" but can't find anything to confirm this. Also, what info is needed to ensure the new rims I get have the correct backspacing? For instance, I was looking at 22x9.5 rims but have 17x8 rims now....is that a difference of 1.5 inches in backspacing since the rim is 1.5 inches wider? I can usually comprehend things extremely well, but this whole backspacing thing is driving me nuts.
