New pinion factor, cruise wont work?
So how did everything turn out? I have 2006 Power Wagon with 35" tires and the check engine light came on. The dealer tells me it has to do wth the pinon factor and I should down size my tires. Has anyone found a better sollution?
If you have 4 Wheel ABS, then just changing the pinion factor in the ABS module is all that is needed.
Since you have this post, I will asseum you have only rear wheel ABS. The reason the speed control is dropping out, is that once the front wheel speed as determined by the engine controller is greater than 5% different from the rear wheel as determined by the RWAL controller. Your dealer should know this. PM me for the correct values if they do not know how. But you are still stuck with getting the engine controller pinion factor set to the correct value.
