Default 2005 dash removal/sub install

Greetings!

I just got myself my first ram and I'm looking to install some subs. I have a couple questions before I go tearing anything apart. I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500, regular cab, short box.

First off, I was wondering if there is a factory amp with the Infinity sound system, and if so, where is it? I was hoping to tap off a power source so that I would not have to find a way in through the firewall.

My second question is, where do I start to disassemble the dash? I've looked all over, but I'm not seeing too many screws and I just don't know how to do it. I would appreciate any help or suggestions that are provided

I found out from my mechanic that you don't even have to remove the dash. In my 01 Ram, he just removed a couple of screws on the sides and moved the dash like a door, onto the seat. Don't know if it's changed over the years.

Then obviously you didn't remove all the bolts.

I'd link you to a guide on ram forum but there must be some beef with this forum and that one. Here's the link though.
