Default umb questions

I asked in a post how to tell which gears I have, yesterday I was trying to determ. by looking and found leaking pinion seal so while Im at the dealer today, i ask, they pull up all options, I have

DMDS- 3.55 gears
DRBS- 9.25 corporate rear axle
DJMS- 205mm HD front axle

heres the questions for clarification:

DSA- anti-spin differential, = limited slip differential same thing?
DHAP- lock-up torque convertor ? whats it do?
4KZP- 4X4 tracking? what exactly is this?
are gears the same in the front axle?

this is 1st 4x4 and still learnin all about it, thanks for any info

yea anti spin and limited slip are the same thing
gears are the same front and rear (if they weren't you would destroy the front axle)

i can answer those two but not the rest

3.55 would be the axle ratio, yes you have a limited slip in the rear axle, front and rear axle ratios are always the same (or very very close) from the factory, otherwise the tires would have to spin at different speeds. When you reach a certain speed, the torque converter locks up, hence the name. It improves fuel economy by lowering engine speed. The 4X4 tracking is just a code that DaimlerChrysler uses on the assemly line. Learning about your truck is part of the experience. No question is dumb, everybody has to start somewhere! By the way, 205 mm and 9.25 in is the ring gear diameter in the front and rear diffs respectevly.

thanks for the lesson, next is lifting 101, want to at least level the front with the rear, hearing too many differences of opinions, so trying to do homework,
