Default 05 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7l Info

Hello everyone.... I'm new to the forum and just wanted to see if anyone could help me out a little bit.

I am looking for a few mods for an 05 ram 4.7l

I called around looking for headers and haven't found any that fit my year as of yet. Does anyone make any?

I was also looking for a chip and an intake.... does anyone have any suggestions as to specific brand name I should go for.

Thanks for all the help

Jon

I heard that superchips would have one in smmer of 06 but don't qoute me, I am looking for it too. As far as the cai you just have to do some research, I think all the gains are pretty close, more or less for me I only really notice a sound difference. I know in California K&N has not the CARB stickers for the 05 so they say just get the 04 and when it is approved they will send the sticker. I think the popular K&N for the 05's is the 77 series. (Not legal in California......can't pass smog)

we have a guy that rutinely (sp?) comes on here and also dodgetalk.com named AIRRAM and he has a site that has custom intakes for the dodge ram trucks 3rd gen. ive heard nothing but GOOD reviews about it and you should check it out and see what you think. I believe the site is www.AIRRAM.com there is also something called the Jet Stream Scoop which is supposed to amplify the coolness of the air into the CAI, and a power wire that "tricks" the comp to thinking the air is 20 deg cooler than it is and it will be able to dump a bit more (2%?) fuel into the engine which should add about 10hp or so. If you want to look at modes for your 2005 4.7L ram, i just asked about it on this forum and got some pretty informative stuff from people, so check it out and GL!
