As far as the model of shocks, I'm not sure 
I just told them to put polished Bilsteins on there. The place that did it is in Cypress, CA called Action Auto, my neighbor's brother owns the place. It is a 2wd truck so I won't be going off road either. I just love the look of lifted trucks. I chose the bilsteins because I heard the ride smoother, and they really do. There is a stretch of freeway down here that is bouncy as hell and now it is a lot smoother considering I just lifted the thing.
Everything cost me around $5,000, I forgot to put that it also has a Flowmaster exhaust.
