When I looked at my catalog of programmers, it seems that all brands offer altered tranny shift points, except dodge. It gives a footnote connotation that it doesn't alter the shift points. I wonder if it is because they are having a hard time with the programming or if they think the shift points are OK from the factory.

I think the shift points on my transmission SUX!!

It's the 1 thing about this truck I do NOT like!

Even with the Overdrive OFF when it gets up to 3rd,it almost Immediatly goes into 4th!!

If anyone finds a way to do this Please let us know!

The shifting is also very Soft, anyone know of a good shift kit for these trucks that would Firm up the shifting a bit??

you can change shift points with the super chips flashpac tuner I did very nice. They also have a shift kit for our trucks Made by transgo also changes shift points I have this also cost me only One hundred for kit but three hundred for install they have to take out valve body in tranny. shift kit still cheaper than flashpac
