You heard right I just came from a Shop here in town that is famous for thier diesel trucks. Turner Automotive in Goergetown Ontario Canada, anyway Im taking my Bee in for a quote on a hard cover and a superchips flashpaq ... I talked with the owner for about a hour and admiring his trphy's and pics on his deisels he's got a 11 sec 26 mpg Diesel ram Truck. As far as i know this is the ONLY 5.7 hemi with a fully tested and working supercharger he is now designing mine with a 440 hood scoop that will work from vacume to open under load and close while in idle.
I will post pics of the SuperCharged Ram this weekend he is calling it back to the shop to get some pics

Well jason's daily driver gets 26 mpg and does the 1/4 mile in 11 seconds check out his website this guy has been on TV in 2000 he is a diesel magician I didnt even know he built a Supercharger kit for the 5.7 liter hemi with a paxton blower...He did tell me today that the kit he can build will ruin the stock rods and pistons even at a 10lb boost. He was also the 1st one ever to turn the SRT-10 hood into a functional hood... he said he was shocked when he got it to find that it was a non functional hood..he saw the srt 10 way back when at a show and tracked down the hood from there. when the track opens up he gonna take the SC bee for a run and get me a time slip to post but in the meantime he gonna get it dynoed to show me some numbers I'll post the dyno sheet and pics when i get them

We need air-fuel ratios across the rpm range and an objective report on driveability.
It's not that difficult to do a physical install, but it's the tuning that's the biatch, unless there is dedicated equipment/software to retune or one daughter-boards the 'puter.
Thanks for the report.

It's funny you mention the kit can ruin the rods with only 10psi of boost. It makes me recall back to 2002, when a mechanic running the engine dyno's at the proving grounds said "we're having trouble getting more power out of them... they just crack with more power..." He also told me that the design engineers could have added a noticable addition of HP, but the blocks just wouldn't handle it. But then you could also argue that the 6.1 makes a lot more power. So whats the difference?? Anyway, after hearing this, and buying my truck in 2005, I've decided not to SC the engine, but rather do a few bolt on's over time. Good luck with the supercharger. Keep us updated.
