Does anyone have this grill on thier truck and if so did you get a really strage sound at about 45-55 MPH after you put it on?

 

No, I have not heard of that.

 

No, but I put after market billet grill inserts on my Ram. Driving in between 25-35 mph, I have a loud whistle I can hear inside the cab.

 

I also put a billet grill on my truck and got a whistle over 30mph. I contacted the manufacturer and they said sometimes very small cracks can develop and I should send it back for a replacement. Just installed the replacement today and no more whistle.

 

hmm might have to do that then, and see what they say.

 

I have a big mouth grill, had it about 6 months now and no problems.

Those who have this grille, do you have the steel-rimmed version or the "chromed" plastic. I seem to recall seeing both in the most recent Stylinconcepts catalog.
