4.7 Superchips update
Just recieved this from Superchips this morning:
As of right now that tuner is on hold until we have the Hemi cars completed. Stay tuned.

Is there a programmer still in the works for the 2004 Dodge Ram 4.7 auto??? Last time i asked it was estimated December 2005.

Post the E-mail address of who responded to your request... and continue to E-mail them DAILY... they will make one of there is a demand for one... Keep this post on top!

So as you can see... nobody really has a clue... .just keep sending e-mails... If EVERYONE who sees this post sends an e-mail ONCE A WEEK and calls ONCE a week you will see a Programer by the end of the year. If you dont do the e-mails or calls you may never see a programer.
This is EXACTLY what we did on a daily basis up till the president of the business got hold of one of our e-mails... he responded to it and soon learned there was a demand. He then made the 4.7L his top priority, so you need to keep it up and continue to send request for the 4.7L untill you get the attention of those who count. the ones answering these e-mails do not all have a say so in what is going to be made or not... Get the attention of the big fish and you will see your tuner.

The email addy is the same. What iritates ne is, they told me last year it would be late 2005 (basically december) for our trucks. Now there saying on hold for the hemi.
I know about 3 months ago...they had the 04 4.7 manual on there list of vehicles wanted. Now its not there. Fastman says its the Aluminum engine that is causing problems with the programmers.
Don't know if this is true or not.
Just wish we could get a straight answer!!!!!!!!

forget SC I am ready to send off to KRC for a custom flash
and the aluminum sounds like bunk to me, my LS1 is aluminum and SC works just fine for it. I dunno, since we didnt buy a hemi I feel like we are getting the runaround. Sorry, had to vent for a minute.

ohh yeah yesterday I installed a freinds SUPER CHIPs... and with that I ran a best of 10.1 .... with the stock I ran 10.3 and with the BG tune I ran 10.7 .... you tell me which one is better?

Are you.... Well I just went through that NIGHTMARE... and after the 3 RE-flash in a attempt to even get it CLOSE to a performance tune I sent it back for a refund. The KRC tune is in fact a BG tune... and on my 4.7L my trudk rean faster with the STOCK tune. Im not going to get into it, all I got to say is BG has not yet nailed down the 4.7L... he may think he has but it made LESS power than my stock PCM did.
