biggest size tires?
Looks like you've already found it but if not, open your glove box and take a look at the sticker in there. You should see 3:55 or 3:92 or even 4:10 there somewhere. That's your gears.
Gear ratio is correct. If your truck is a 4x4, I would assume that you already have 3:92 or 4:10's.. You could even go with 4:56's. If you have 4:56's you would notice much improved low end torque for hauling and increased fuel economy as well compared to 3:55's. The truck will snap your neck back stronger from the start with the 4:56's as well. Here's a link with some excellent information on this topic.

here's my situation:
my truck came with 3.55's and 245/70/17's ... soon i'll be upgrading to 285/70/17's ... since i'm looking at approx. a 16% positive change in tire size, should i be looking at switching to 4.10 gears as well? if so, what's a reputable place to order from?
