Default Chrome Door handle covers?

Hey Guys, Has any one here installed the chrome door handle covers that glue over the factory ones, just looking to see if they are good quality and durable, yes i know metal replacements are better but they are also more expensive and well at high speed they look the same. also they offer them with the passanger side key hole covered, I'm thinking i would like them both covered (driver side also).
I just installed a billet gas door so i'm thinking it would look better with the metal handles.
So let me get your input
Thanks!

I have not seen them, but are you sure you would wanna cover both key holes????????? Maybe I am paranoid, but what if the battery goes dead in the keyless entry?

I bought the Putco ones from this guy on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PUTCO...46113444QQrdZ1

I really like them, they are stuck on good, and they match the OEM chrome really well. My only complaint is that they do not fit flush with the truck, there is a small space between the cover and the truck where you can still see the black handle, but if you put them on with an even space all the way around it doesn't look to bad, and you can only see it right up close. I attached a picture of them.

What is the cost difference between the covers and an actual chrome handle?

My uncle bought some of these plastic/chrome covers for his door handles that just kind of stick on... He said they're terrible. Always snagging on stuff, and look really cheap.

Judge for yourself, I personally like them. I have had them almost 2 years, they have not cracked or fell off yet.

They are made by Putco

Looks good to me. The more chrome, the better. If you're willing to pay more though, you may want to look at replacing the whole door handle and go with these:

Those would probably look a little less "Silly" or "Tacky" or "Ricey" as some like to say. [sm=smiley36.gif]

i think they look nice...they don't feel as sturdy as they should but then again they are stick on....but i think they are great considering the price of replacement handles.
