Loudest muffler, Flowmaster. Glasspacks would be louder and cheaper though, but I'd rather have a nice Borla system. Borla or Corsa I say is best for horsepower.

It all comes down to preference and price. As for horsepower gains, I'd most of them are within 2-4% of each other. The sound will play a huge factor too. If you want something loud, Flowmaster. If you want a nice rumble with little interior sound - Magnaflow, Borla, Corsa, etc.

Let's not forget Gibson. They make everything from loud to semi quiet. All are bolt on cat-back systems. You can get them in full stainless or the cheaper aluminized steel.

You can always "cheap out" and just replace the muffler which will give you the sound you want without sacrificing the low end torque by having a massive cat back exhaust.

I love my Gibson Super Truck that exits in front of the passenger rear tire. Excellent sound and easy install. It was gratifying to yank out a few feet of restrictive factory exhaust and toss it in the trash. Again, very easy install, one piece and a sawzall to hack out the old junk. 20 minute job. Looks sweet on the regular cab short box that I have.

Hey, GotHemi... how loud is your Gibson exhaust? I like the look of a good quality exhaust system that exits in front of the rear wheel. I might consider it... I want more rumble in the exhaust sound but I do not want it loud like Flowmasters.
