ANYONE have ANY idea?????
I am going to be doing this when I upgrade to components for my system. I talked with the guy at my sound shop and he said that the stock locations on the dash are perfect and not to waste the money on the replacement pillars.
Ya for sure they are good places for tweets, cause the sound will get reflected right off the windsheild and then back at you. This will also help to get rid of some of the metallic sound from the tweeters. I did not bother getting new A-Pillars, I just carefully curface mounted the tweeters in my set. They look ok, I am not crazy about them, but I just wanted them in, and didnt care. And aside from that, using 3m tape, I can take them off and clear it so well that you wouldnt even know they were there.
They really are and super easy to swap. I was a little careless though when I pryed the dash up, left some scratches im kickin myself for now[:@]...just make sure you slide a piece of paper under your flat bar when your prying.
Ya i think anyone can say that at some point those stupid clips have caused grief and self-***-kickin. I hate those damn things, I am more of a nut and bolt or screw guy, but hey, I dont make 'em, I mod 'em.
My windshield was out last time I pried up my dash so it was super, super easy. Ha.
Although I am kind of pissed, I have had 3 windshields in 2 years over 74,000kms. Bullsheet!

Ya why is that I wonder, cant they make something a little stronger for there??? Everything scratches easy, I am an electrician and all the tools and crap I throw into the cab, its hard keeping it clean. Thank god for fold up seating though, Or I would have a 4 door tool box, with no clean place for people to sit.
I'm sorry....Are you suggesting they actually paint these things??? Is that what they call that?? Is that the basic single coat method to saving money, cause I dont think my black truck came with paint, I think its just slag from the welders.....Shodiest paint job I have seen, every ding and dent goes right through to the steel..........I have a few brown primer spots than I ever though i would see........>Damn
