Can I level out the front of my 4x2? or put a lift kit on it?
Can I level out the front of my 4x2 to make it look higher in the front like a 4x4 or put a lift kit on it, maybe 3"?
I like the way the 4x4 sit up in the front, so maybe i'd like to level it out, but later on i may consider doing a lift kit. That foolish? Any negatives to this? What kits do you guys recommend and what size and model tire would your recommend for the 20" rims if i wanted to go a little bigger?
TIA,,

Do what I did, go to www.performancelifts.com and get the 3" lift coils to completely replace the springs up front. Levels it out perfectly and they're only like $150, then later on you can buy spindles to add to the lift which is the point I'm at. I'm saving up for some 4" spindles for the front then some leafs or blocks for the rear to give me a total of 7" lift.
Here's mine with just the 3" coils:

thx for the response back. That link to your pictures doesn't come back correctly??
Did you have someone install the coils, does this create more drag, worse gas milage?

I did the coils myself with a friend, if you dont know your way around the truck though or dont have the correct tools you should definitely take it to a shop. My mileage hasnt changed. It's not the lift so much that kills your mileage as it is the tire size. I went from a 32" tire to a 33 1/2" tire and thats when my mileage changed
