By any chance, do you know how to disassemble the sideview mirrors. I'm trying to paint mine this week, but I can't figure out how to take them apart1[&:]

to get the mirrors off you have to take off the entire side panel which isnt too hard, theres two bolts at the bottoms, one to take off the handle, and the one in the corner by the window, once thats off there are two more holding the mirror to the door and that should be it, as far as taking it apart from there i dont know, i knwo it breaks down to 3 peices, hope that helped

You don't have to take the whole panel off. Just the screw behind the mirror...pull back the panel and stick a wrench in and unscrew the nuts...it's easy...took me 5 minutes per mirror. Anybody else...???[&o]

The truck looks good. I'm planning on having my Red 1500 painted this spring. I'm gonna have the mirrors, wiper cowl, and door handles color matched. I think the cowl looks especially good when matched to the body.
