Just got my new SRT-10 Hood & Mirrors painted, what do you think?
Here are a few pics of my new hood and mirrors, as you can see i have a billet insert in the cowl and i painted the bars behind the lateral bars black so it would look smoother. and now i have my old hood and bug guard sitting around if anyone wants them.

Not really digging the mirrors, but the hood is pretty hot. Does the color match well? I've heard that silver is probably the hardest color to get matched perfectly. I like the hood. I'd have gone with the black insert, but you do what makes you happy. Pretty sweet.
the hood Looks GREAT! im thinking about getting one for my flame red 1500. How much did it run you and where did you get it. I like how the mirrors match the rest of the truck, makes it look real nice
Truck's really lookin good man!

I like the mirrors. It is a sport, painted bumpers, why not paint the mirrors to match.
But how did you paint them? In other words what did you buy to paint and attach to the stock plastic or how did you prep them???

i actually had a buddy of mine who has a shop paint the hood and mirrors, the mirrors werent that hard to paint i was there when he was doing them, after he disassembled them the break down to 3 peices and we sanded them down a little, clened them with wax remover, adhesion promoter, primer, paint, then clear the feel great nice and smooth.
