Cool Video! or bad?
I never liked the look of the 02-03 f-150's (350's yes but) so i never really paid any attention to how ford set up the lightning, so just wondering are all lightnings supercharged?? it seems obvious that the lightnings in the vid where detuned, and sure a stock truck would fall pray to one in a street race.
Im sorry but i love the dodge (nothing against the lightning), I personally would take the SRT over that ford any day. Besides I'd like to see what Hennessey can do with the dodge, then race a furd.

Don't quote me, but I believe all Lightnings come supercharged from the factory. But the fords in the video are clearly modified beyond stock. And knowing how Ford guys are, they are probably running NOS.

All the 98-03' Lightnings were supercharged from the factory. In 98'-99', they had 360hp, and in 00'-03' they had 380hp.
They had lightnings back in like 93'-95' with a 351 I think.

For a "sport truck" the Ford really isn't that bad, especially when they initially came out with a sticker in the upper $30's. However, stock vs. stock, the Ram wins.
As far as the video, it is definitely biased, not to mention that the 'editor' can't spell "Finals" when it shows the drag at Richmond about half way through the video. What does that tell you? Other than that, I'm sure somebody's mother is very proud of thier son's high school A/V project.
