How did you get a remote start with a manual tranny!?!?!?! I'v been looking but can't find one.

 

You have to fool the clutch pedal into thinking that it is being pressed. You do this with a relay. Look at the diagram for the clutch.

Again that is for the alarm I have with them. It may work for you with another alarm. I dont recommend it unless you know which cable you are connecting things to. Also, if you do remote start with a manual tranny, forget locking it into any gear. My honest opinion, the truck will just stall when started in gear since you have the parking brake on. There is no way the truck will remote start without the parking brake on. Then again I have not tried it so dont take my word for it.

 

I live in Boise, ID and yeah my truck is a reg cab 3.7 manual 6 speed. They were having a big sale and the sticker price on the window was 14,200 marked down from $22,920. They had a v8 for 14,900 but it was a long bed. I told them that I wanted my payment under 200 which meant they either had to come down on the truck a 1,000 or give me a 1,000 more on trade than they wanted too. He went and talked to the boss and said were coming down another 1,000 on the truck. So I guess you could look at it either way, I paid 13,200 for the truck or got another 1k for my trade. So by the time taxes and fees and everything were done I was probably closer to 14k out the door. Mine has the optional package as 21A which put the total price at $22,920 before discount.
