Default rim fitment

'03 Dodge ram 4 x 2 here - I don't want a shmuck sending me the wrong rim and not refunding me.

please correct me where I'm wrong or add input where you see fit:

20" rim (stock) - I can stay 20" or
I can add 22,23,24 if I want

I need 5 lug with a 5 x 5.5 lug pattern only correct?

And the kicker - this offset stuff. I think I know what it is. Its how the rim mounts to keep the tire from rubbing on the truck. I think with the ram I need a +15 or greater? Is that correct, and is that for any rim that goes on the truck? I just seems hard to find the correct rim thats a 5 bolt pattern and is also not a negative offset or something.

My 20" SRT's are 20X9 with a 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern. So I would say, yes your sizing is correct.

Bolt pattern is 5 x 5.5. Not sure what the offset or the backspacing is supposed to be for proper fit, but it also depends on the width of the rim. Backspacing is the distance from the back lip of the rim to the mounting surface of the wheel that mates up with the hub. Offset is the measurement from the centerline of the wheel to the wheel mounting surface.

Your bolt pattern is correct. you should be OK with a +15 to +18 offset.

I was told from one of the wheel distributors that the ram 1500 stock 20" wheel has a +25 offset. the bolt pattern is 5 lug on 5.5 which is 5x5.5 also referred to as 5x139.7

The factory wheels is a +19, I wouldnt go with a +15...Any smaller then a +19 your wheels will stick out a little further...Also if you are planning on lowering your truck you will need a +20 or more....
