My New Mega Cab is here!
I finally got the new Mega Cab last Thursday! It took 11 weeks for it to get here, but it was worth every second I had to wait. My kids think Mom's new truck rocks! (they likened the Suburban to the station wagon thing). It's been great to drive and it turns heads everywhere I take it. I am picking up the mudflaps today and ordering a hard tonneau cover that locks along with the chrome exhaust pipe. I want to get chrome door handles(the black looks funny) and get window guards(jury is still out whether chrome or smoke). We also think it needs wheel flares on the fenders. The hubby's Dakota has it and this seems to be missing something. Any suggestions about that?
It'll be fun dressing up my new truck!

I heard the chrome door handle covers are cheap looking so it looks like you want to get replacment door handles. Mud flaps are a must on a full size truck. I had smoke window air guards on my last Ram and the did'nt stick out and matched the truck very well. Your Mega Ram must make your Hubbies Dakota look like a toy.[:D]
Your truck is similar to mine...I just got my fender flares, but haven't installed them yet. I'll post pics in my gallery when I get them installed. I went with a Rhino Lining in the back. I aslo have the leveling kit ready to go on, I'll post pics of that too.
Great truck. That thing must be a great long trip truck, so roomy and open. Diesel Power Magazine is doing a test drive report on it in their next issue; 1200 miles in a week. I thought my quad cab was too big when I firstbought it, and now I think the extra room of the mega cab would be better.
Fender flares will really make a difference in the look of the truck (some wider matching rubber is good too, but first things first). I don't know if you can tell from the pictures in my gallery, but the tires and flares made a huge difference in the appearance of my truck. The flares break up the flat sides of the truck.
