Hey does anyone know if the 2004-05 4.7 has the 8-6-4 cylinder shut down option that is on the Hemi?? I was told by a friend that her's has that option when the cruise control is engaged and you get to cruising speed on the High way. Any thoughts will help. Did notice a bit of better miliage 17.8 up to 18.6 when I was running back from Atlanta a couple weeks ago. I had re adjusted my CAI to have the inflow was coming in at a better angle. I'm looking into building the heat shield this weekend to help with the air flow too. Well stay cool, H

 

No. 4.7 does not have MDS, the 04 and 05's Hemis do not have MDS either. Some 06 Hemis do have it.
