Stalling...05 Hemi Ram
I have a question to the guys with the superchips. Is it possible to set the idle up another 50 rpm? It may help the stalling problem.
You wouldn't think this would have to be done, but I'm thinking that with the fly by wire throttle body, maybe it just isn't capable of responding to the need for rpm increase fast enough to keep it from dying---as if you were letting out the clutch, without pressing down on the gas pedal--so to speak.

I'ld be curious to know where geographically those of you that are having the issue are located.
State and approx altitude.
With a few states using "cleaner" fuels wich = more additives....and such...it makes me wonder.
I am pretty sure SC is located in FL....we have no "special" emission laws and are pretty much at sea level across the state.
The RD people surely wouldn't just slap out a product that produced issues here....especially when their reputation for perfomance is at stake.
My recent trip though the mountains learned me a lesson on what altitude can do to a FI motor's mixture.
I always run 87 (89 once in a great while) octane fuel...but I am bone stock other than an eBay CAI kit.

I have owned a 03, 05 and 06. The 03 and 05 stalled .. no resolution .. the 06 runs real rough at times.
I hold a reply from Chrysler to NHSTA ... the report is available to anyone who wants it. Email me at vidalch_1@yahoo.com
my 05 2500 4x4 stalls when the t stat opens after the engine has sat once going through
the intial warm up. the hypertech programmer seem to allleviate some of the problem
now the engine want to almost stall then catches itself. im hoping dodge comes out
with a pcm program update. we do it all the time at the chevrolet dealership where i
work. alot will be riding on the complaints of owners, if no one complains the enginers
will never fix it, so bring the vehicle in as many times as it takes and become a thorn in
the service advisors or service managers side if need be. DCC can also can contacted via
email im sure.

Your stalling problem is not related to your computer programmer. It's a erratic /low idle program problem in the engine computer. It happened to my 04 ram(Hemi) take it to dealer and have computer reflashed for low or erratic idle.Return truck to stock programming before bringing it to dealer. It takes about 5 min. I have all that stuff on my truck also -exhaust, K&N ,Hypertech none of those have anything to do with it. Once you get engine computer reflashed it won't do that.It basicly just bumps the idle up some.there's a TSB. out on this problem.I saw it on dodge forum thats how I knew.
