NEED MORE POWER!!!?!!
I have a little problem, ever since i got an old v6 ford f150, i have wanted more power. My current vehicle's hemi is by fare powerful, but i still want more ponies, does anyone know of any turbocharger or supercharger kits that will work with the 5.7? I have searched everywhere and want a kit, because i am good with mechanics, but not super-awesome with them to create my own turbo setup.
http://www.strippermotorsports.com check there, they're a sponsor here on Dodge Forum.
also check www.krcperformance.com they have alot of stuff for the hemi motor.
oops, oh yeah, check out Kenny Bell's website, he also has a supercharger setup for the hemi IIRC.

I have a turbo on my '05 CTD and the one thing I dont like is the spoolup time... superchargers dont have that. one of these days i'm gonna have to find out what mods help spool it up quicker. It is pretty sweet however once it gets to 35~36 psi [sm=icon_rock.gif] it's like someone just fired an afterburner...

in order to make ur turbo spool up faster, try a new exhaust and a downpipe. I dont know much about diesels but diesels so i dont know if they even have downpipes, but an enlarged downpipe would pump some serious juice into that CTD and remember, stop strokin and start cummin!

it's already got a 4" exhaust all the way out to the tip. the one thing it does have (not for long) is a cat. that'll be gone soon. I talked with a guy who had a 5" turbo back setup and complained that his low end had dropped too much and was going back to a 4" setup. there's not much to do other than yank the cat and get a straight thru muffler. from my understanding, the low end will be gone (just like the gassers) and the turbo will spool up easier but not lower in rpm (which is what I want). I think what I need to do is get a turbo upgrade. I know there are turbo's available that will spool up much quicker and build boost much quicker, both of which would be really nice to have.
